The Go Slow Collection began with a single pattern I created in Procreate in December 2023. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about pattern design—and when I revisited the original, I thought it would be fun to build a collection around it.
I reduced the hero pattern from three snails to two and removed the waves, replacing them with more stems, leaves, and flowers. The result feels clearer and more balanced.
From there, I built the rest of the collection around the same idea. I’ve always loved hand lettering and motivational quotes, so “Go Slow” became the heart of the collection.
I also took the little hearts from the snails’ shells and turned them into scattered heart patterns, giving a small detail from the hero pattern a life of its own. To round off the collection, I added an abstract wave pattern as a simple blender.
A collection about slowing down—and about seeing how much can change when you return to something with new eyes.
